OHC is a family oriented pool & tennis club run by the community of 150 family members.

Membership:

OHC offers a “Family membership” for individuals, couples and families within a household, this includes any extended relatives living with that family.  After 10 years members graduate to a discounted rate with “Silver Key” status, and after 20 years will enjoy free membership for life as “Gold Key”, which also includes an annual dinner hosted at the club.

Member responsibilities:

All families must complete 4 “work hours” per calendar.  Whatever your interests may be, there's a job for everyone!  Some tasks include grounds and landscaping work to prepare the club for opening, clean up in the fall, general repairs, organizing or running social events, writing the club newsletter, volunteering to be a board member or work on a committee, improvement projects, painting, cleaning etc.

Once per summer season each family must also complete a night of pool sitting. This involves supervising the pool for an evening and locking up afterwards. Guidance and a checklist are provided.
